Chili con Tap – Tap Dance Company

Chili con Tap was founded in 1997 by Cristina Delius in Berlin.

The company cast is carefully choosen according each project. The cast members have studied with Cristina's tap dance school in Berlin.

Chili con Tap presents a wide musical spectrum and sensitive interpretations. From traditional to contemporary tap dance and inspired among others by the music of Louis Prima, Thelonious Monk, Duke Ellington, Maceo Parker or Renaud Garcia-Fons, the dancers harmonise with their percussive tap style perfectlly with each other.

Chili con Tap has a new home! From February 2011 on, the company will be based at TapBeat, the new tap dance center from Cristina in Berlin.

Chili con Tap dancers:

Gabi Bauer, Claudia Drießler, David Hellwig, Mano Hiroki, Marion Janning, Felix Morgenstern, Henriette Rieffel and Regina Pabst, Natasha Maddox and Tina Böhmer.

Additional guest dancers at international performances:

Raquel Vieira de Almeida, Marinela Silva, Anabela Martins, Ana Sousa (from Lisbon/Portugal)
and Rubén Viana Perez (Barcelona/Spain).


The company can be booked for different occasions: events, full evening theater shows, children performances and more. You can book the whole cast or a smaler cast according to your program needs. By interest please contact us by sending an e-mail.

Program duration:

Minimum 15 minutes
Maximum: 60 minutes

Friday, July 9 at 8:00 p.m. during the "Tap City" Festival in New York, USA.

Due to other commitments the following Chili con Tap dancers won't be able to come to New York City:
Raquel Vieira de Almeida, Gabi Bauer, Rubén Perez Viana and Kathrin Wehr. We will miss them.
